The journey
Zonder vooropgezet doel start ik met mijn handen op een schildersdoek. Hier wordt als het ware een schilderij geboren. Intuïtief wordt er steeds een nieuwe laag aangebracht met acrylverf, pasta, klei, zand, stenen en zo veel meer. Op deze manier ontstaan er steeds weer unieke exemplaren in mijn atelier.
Ik kom uit een internationaal gezin en heb zelf een aantal jaren in Bangkok en Singapore de cultuur en natuur kunnen opsnuiven. Momenteel ben ik woonachtig in het bosrijke Mook, waar mijn atelier te vinden is. Deze verbondenheid met natuur komt ook dagelijks terug in mijn werk als bloembindster.
Ik ben een creatieve duizendpoot die altijd op zoek is naar inspiratie om weer een nieuw schilderij tot leven te brengen. Waarbij er oog is voor een persoonlijke touch, zodat elk uniek exemplaar zijn eigen plek zal vinden!
Without a predetermined goal, I start with my hands on a canvas. This is the moment when a painting is born. Layers are intuitively applied with acrylic paint, paste, clay, sand, stones, and much more. In this way, unique paintings are continually created in my studio.
I grew up in an international family and lived in Bangkok and Singapore for a few years, where I loved exploring the culture and nature. I am currently based in Mook, where my studio is close to the forest. My connection with nature is also reflected in my daily work as a florist.
I am always seeking inspiration to breathe life into a new painting. The personal touch is key, ensuring that each unique piece finds its own home!
